Originally a furniture factory with interesting quirks, evident when the apartment was gutted down to a dirt floor - has been transformed into a modern masterpiece. The desire to utilize the high ceilings led to the creation of the integrated steel library ladder which can be moved around the entire apartment - whether it be to access the upper kitchen pantrys, reserve storage in the bathroom, or the loft bed in the guest room. Furthering the steel aesthetic, the dining and living room are accented with paper thin floating shelves which appear to effortlessly support hundreds of pounds. Upper glass room transoms ensure every inch of the apartment receives natural light, while still allowing for the privacy of enclosed rooms. A perfectly modern kitchen and bathroom wrapped in stone, with accent lighting for art bring some touches of luxury to the space.
